On Tuesday we celebrated Tino's 2nd birthday. Tino is such a joy to have around and his smile and laugh and make anyone smile. We are still looking for answers as to how far he will develop, but in the 2 months that he has been here we have seen amazing changes in him. He is a blessing to have around.

   On Wednesday I went to preschool. Hoping it would help pass the time until my grandparents came. They were flying into Cancun on Thursday and the plan was to meet them Saturday morning. Well when I got back from preschool I found out that their travel plans had changed a bit. They were supposed to be coming down with 2 other couples, both which canceled at the last minuet for different reasons. Plans always seem to change when someone has tried to come down and visit. So it was back to waiting and guessing as to when and how my grandparents would get to Belize, as they were relying on the other couples to get them around. 

   On Thursday I went to preschool again and then I spent the day waiting to hear from my grandparents as to when I would be seeing them and how they were getting around. But I never did hear from them. During this time of waiting I had to keep reminding myself that everything would work out and to just go with the flow. There are times when I can just go with the flow and then there are times when I have to know what's going on. I think I wanted this time with them to be perfect. But I need to stop worreing about all the plans and just remember to enjoy every minuet with my grandparents. And go on new adventures and make new memories with them. As I'm writing this now I am realizing that this is a very special experience I get to have with my grandparents and something that I'm sure I will treasure for the rest of my life. The verse that also came to mind, was Proverbs 16:9, "We make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps."

   Friday morning started out like any other Friday morning. I got up and got ready for the day and then I headed out to preschool. Still waiting to hear from my grandparents. I walked back home after preschool, had lunch, and then had some down time. I had decided to lay down for a bit, when my phone rang. I had seen I'd missed a call earlier, but I didn't know from who it was. Well this call was from my grandpa! And they were already here in San Ignacio!! They had gotten in before lunch some time and had taken a nap and showered before they called me. I think that is the fastest I have ever gotten to the check point to catch a taxi, and the taxi felt like it took forever!! It was so great to connect with them and hear about their adventure in getting here. I think they may even have me beat on being adventurous in some areas :)  They took a bus from Cancun to Belize City. Then they then took a bus from Belize City to San Ignacio. Something I haven't even done yet, and was planning on not doing. The buses from Belize City to San Igancio are just old school buses, but that's what they took. We enjoyed a great evening catching up and just spending time together.
   Now it is Saturday night and we had another adventurous day and from the looks of things there will be more to come :)
