Friday morning I went to preschool again. I am falling more in love with the kids every time I go, and it made me sad to realize the way things may end up working out I don't have many times left with them. It made me sad :( In the evening I had bible study again. Sometimes I feel like I have trouble keeping their attention, but I pray that God will still use what is being said and that it will still affect their life in some way.
Saturday I ended up not tutoring again, because Zeriah is still sick. So it ended up being a day of just hanging around the house. I felt really tired today, or maybe parcially just lazy, but the last couple of days I'm just done by 8 o'clock. I am also trying to get rid a cough that doesn't seem to want to go away.
Happy Valentine's Day!! We went to church in the morning. The afternoon was spent relaxing, playing Qwirkle and watching the movie, The Big Green. That took me back to my childhood, when we used to take that movie out from the library on VHS :) In the evening we went to bible study. When we came back we ate popcorn and spent some time visiting with the ladies that are staying here.
Today I am just enjoying the beautiful sunshine. I went downtown to Pops for lunch and then wandered around downtown. Before heading back up the hill and head back I stopped for Ice Cream at a cute little ice cream shop called The Ice Cream Shop. Their ice cream is made here in Belize, and I think it's the best ice cream I have had since being down here. This afternoon as I was sitting outside and enjoying the breeze the chickens were wandering around me, and lets just say at times they were a little too close for comfort :) That about sums up today. I enjoyed my relaxing day!!
