This past week seems to have just flown by. Nothing too exciting or out of the ordinary happened either. But all in all it was a good week. On Tuesday I looked after the boys in the morning. I have also added Wednesday to my days of preschool for these next 2 weeks to help keep me busy, so that's what I did Wednesday morning. In the afternoon I looked after Zion, while Margaret took Tino to an appointment in Spanish Lookout. On Wednesday I also missed the snow. Can't say I've really missed it yet, other than at Christmas, but then it was more so missing the fact that it wasn't a white Christmas. I missed the sound of the snow crunching as you walk. Or the beautiful snow falls that cover the ground with a fresh layer of snow. I'm hoping that I will get to enjoy some snow when I get home. However, I do not miss the winter driving and the cold, although from what I hear I am missing out on a mild winter!
Thursday was preschool again and otherwise just another day. Friday was another typical Friday, well other than the fact that it was cool and rainy. In the evening I had bible study again. The past couple of times there has only been one other girls, but this time there was 4 girls and 2 that had never been before. I enjoyed the time with the girls and seeing them wanting to learn more.
Saturday I looked after the boys early in the morning while Margaret and Marisol went and cleaned the church. It was another cool and rainy day. It has been a while since we've had a rainy day.
Sunday the sun shone again, although it was still a bit cooler. When it's been a bit cooler, and the days that the sun shines, it reminds me of the weather in August. It's refreshing after the hot days we had earlier in the week. Tuesday and Wednesday were quite hot again, although I think it felt hotter because it hasn't been that hot for a while. The temperature hit the 90's those days, plus then there was the humidity. Anyways, there must not be anything too important too talk about if I'm talking about the weather. Sunday was another quiet day. In the evening our church went to Camalote, which is a village close to Belmopan, to visit another Baptist church there and encourage them.
On Monday I had to go and get my passport stamped again, and Tino had a doctors appointment in Belmopan too. Going into the day you expect it to be a full day of waiting. Well that was not the case. It took me about an hour at immigration and Tino's appointment was right on time, thanks to the social worker. So we were done way earlier than expected. And to top the day off, we also ran into the twins at immigration! They were so cute looking in their matching dresses. I spent the afternoon, just doing little odd jobs in my basement suit. In the evening I was able to skype with my brothers for a bit. It's not very often that they are both there and talking to me.
Tuesday I looked after the boys most of the day and made some cookies. Then this morning I went to preschool, and in the afternoon I looked after the boys a bit. And now I'm ready for bed. This past week sure has seemed to fly by, but then I already said that :)
